Neighborbs - in the beginning

Last weekend, I was sharing with a friend pictures of orbs that appeared in pictures my husband and I snapped at a graveyard in Strausburg, PA. You can see them here. My friend, very skeptical of a life after this one and amazingly scientific minded, suggested that perhaps my camera had a malfunction.

Have you ever taken pictures of your own backyard at night?

Well, no, I haven't. But let's try that!

When it got dark, I pulled out the digital camera and snapped away. I was pretty shocked to find orbs. It's not like our house is haunted or anything. And while the quantity wasn't hug, they were still there.

To confirm that I really was getting orbs in the pictures and not reflections of dust particles living on my lens, we (he) cleaned it well. Then we went back outside to take more pictures. And found more orbs. Then confirmed that nothing was in the place where the orbs were located that could explain why we could see them.

Here is a collection of the orbs that appear in the photos take from my back porch. They are fascinating. I believe that energy and spirits are always around us. It just never occurred to me to take pictures of regular places to see what appears.
